PROFILE: TONY SIKORSKI
"My father was a major influence on me. Among a host of incredibly varied jobs, he worked as a freelance artist in the graphic field and had a business painting window streamers, show cards, truck lettering, billboards and movie signage. As I grew older I helped him and learned how to letter and draw."

FIRST EXHIBITION
When was the first automobile art exhibition? I would put a strong case forward for December 1905 when a major exhibition was mounted from the 8th – 24th December at the French Motor Show in Paris. I was fortunate recently to purchase from Ken Ball, the automobile book dealer in the UK, a copy of the motor show exhibition catalogue...

The 24th Annual AFAS Premiere Art Show at Pebble Beach
2009 is the 24th consecutive showing by the members of the Automotive Fine Arts Society on the famed grounds of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The show features the latest works by member painters and sculptors from around the world. Guest artist for 2009 is Gary Winn. Poster for the 2009 Concours is by Barry Rowe.
